am so bad at this “once a month newsletter” thing. Sorry but you will have to just settle for getting a letter every now and then. Well it is already November. July—October flew by and we were only able to fit in one more camping trip this summer. We had a great time being with family and friends. We were able to spend our time kayaking, swimming, playing putt-putt, hiking and of course eating! The summer activities have finally wound down and we are looking forward to the Fall & Winter seasons. This year Fall in Colorado has had its perfect Fall Days but then there are days like today when the temperature is over 70 and you think it is summer again. The leaves turned early this year and due to a pattern of high winds they were not on the trees long, especially in the high country. We were able to make our yearly family visit to Cripple Creek and Victor to see the leaves. It was a fun, but windy day. We took a picnic lunch of home made soup, breads and of course cookies and had a great time spending time with family. This year we took the train ride in Cripple Creek and followed that with ice cream. This was definitely a highlight for Taylor (our 2 year old niece). Our ladies retreat at church was at the end of September and it was a wonderful time of encouragement and reflection. This year we went to a new place down in the Wet Mountains and had a great time hiking and seeing the sights. It is always fun to see something that we have been working on all year come together in the end. On our way home we were able to stop off at Bishop’s Castle. This is a medieval castle being built by a crazy man and is pretty interesting to see. My friend Leah had never seen it before so we decided to enlighten her. I know she will never be the same again now that she has experienced this, HAHA! Leah, my dear friend also got hitched in September and I was honored to be able to be a part of her special day. Congrats Leah and Adam!Steve purchased a new toy this year for hunting season, a nice enclosed trailer to pull behind his truck. For the weeks leading up to “The Big Trip” he spent time cleaning it out and finding a perfect spot inside for all of his hunting gear.Well hunting season has finally come! Steve has been in hunting mode for so long and his long anticipated season has come. He was able to go bow hunting the weekends through September and now he and “the Guys” are riffle hunting. There are 8 guys, staying away for 9 days, living in a tent in the mountains and loving life! I am so glad they have this hobby, they get so excited and are all like little kids at Christmas time. Speaking of Christmas, do you know there are only 47 more shopping days left till Christmas! Oh my goodness where has the time gone!? I was just thinking about the fact that Thanksgiving is in 2 weeks and I really don't have things organized yet. Steve and I are hosting Thanksgiving dinner at our house this year. We will be celebrating with my family as well as Steve’s mom, Step dad and family. The crazy thing is that I will be on a business trip in Anaheim that week until Wednesday and so poor Steve is going to have to make sure the house is cleaned and ready to go. He can do it though, he is so awesome and always helps me with things around the house! If I don't see you all or talk to you before then , have a wonderful Thanksgiving! We were able to go out to Venitucci Farm this year to pick pumpkins. They had all kinds of things going on from live animals to play with to live music to dance to. We then we had our Pumpkin Carving and home made chili night last week. We of course watched “The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” and made Carmel Apples.Work has been good. I went on a business trip in October to Sacramento. It was a lot of fun and I loved meeting so many of the people I work with long distance. I also worked the convention in Denver last week and had a great time. I am looking forward to my next trip to Anaheim. Steve stays busy and takes things one day at a time with work. There are still a lot of changes going on and it can be a little unsettling. Hopefully with the new year things will all settle down. Well, as far as news I think that might be it. At least that is all I can seem to remember right now. Our weeknights stay full and our weekends fuller. I am not sure how we stay so busy but it just happens. I guess it keeps us out of trouble. We hope you are all doing well and hope to hear from you soon.God Bless~ Steve, Shawnee & Moose

Well WOW! It has been a crazy busy couple of months for us. June and July have been filled with lots of fun and family! Early June I went to Glenwood Springs for a bachelorette party. It was a fun weekend of sitting in the hot springs and spa treatments! Shortly after that we were able to welcome Remington into the world and into the family. He is a cute little guy who loves to eat! I was a part of my friend Margaret's wedding at the end of June and it was beautiful! It was in some gardens in Denver and the weather was perfect for it. Steve and I were also able to go on a camping trip with his brother and family and we had a great weekend camping, visiting the ghost town of St Elmo, 4 wheeling and eating s’mores! Helpful Hint: A F-150 does not make a great vehicle to take on small jeep trails! At the end of June early July my Aunt and Cousin were able to spend a week out here with us. We had a great time catching up with them but the visit ended all too soon. While they were here we celebrated the 4th of July at our church’s annual 4th of July Service and BBQ and then we went up to Steve's parents house near Denver. We had a great BBQ dinner with Great Food! Later that night we all piled in the back of our pickup truck to watch the Castle Rock Fire Works. We really couldn't hear the music that went with the fireworks but they were still good. Steve and I have been busy shooting pictures as well. We have picked up 3 weddings this summer and a few family shoots including the Wehrmann/Billeisen family. That was a fun morning of family photos which included a few falls, a few laughs and knocking over a fence. Steve and my brother , DJ hosted a boys camping trip for the youth group boys at our church this last weekend. They took them to the area that they normally hunt in with no, nothing around. The boys had to really rough it which a lot of them were not used to. I know they had a great time due to the many stories I have heard concerning the trip. I think the youth group boys had a great time as well! Since the youth group boys were camping the youth group girls had a slumber party which I was invited to. Boy it has been a long time since I hung out with High School Girls! It brought back memories. We went Ice Blocking late that night which was fun and also brought back many memories of my high school and college years. The past two months I have had 2 bachelorette parties, 3 wedding showers and 2 Baby showers to plan plus I am still working with the team planning our church’s ladies retreat. Steve has been busy planning the coming hunting season. That involves a few meetings with “The Boys” also known as the “Rack Pack” and lots of dreaming. Hunting somehow comes up in just about every conversation these days when other guys are around, especially DJ. When that happens I know the season is getting near. Other then that we just seem to stay very busy. It seems that every weeknight is full and our weekends are non existent. This month we got to celebrate birthdays with Mike and Caroline Wehrmann! Wahoo!!! Another year older! And unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our nieces last night (But there was cake!). Brittney is heading back to college and Becca is going back to her moms house for the school year. It is Finally Friday but my weekend is not looking like one of peace and rest. Tonight Steve and I are shooting a wedding outside at the Garden of the Gods and then tomorrow I will spend the entire day in Denver for my Friend Leah’s wedding shower. But like Steve says, “Who needs sleep?” My response to that is “ME!” I really cant complain though all of the activities filling my time are fun. I hope you all are enjoying your summer! Have a great August!

May News!
April was a blur. It came and went before we even knew it. After our big Easter Celebration we could not slow down. We hosted a few dinners at our home one of them being the Progressive dinner for our group at church. We were hosting the main course and had 20 people show up for the fun. We have just finished the playground project at our church and it turned out beautifully! The kids are loving it! Steve has also become an Usher at our church and It is really stretching his “BOX” but he is enjoying it and his box needs to be stretched! We have invested in a new computer and camera! Now we will be able to be a little more professional with our photography. It is amazing how many people hear about us through just word of mouth. But we enjoy doing it on the side. It is definitely something we want to get more in to. Shawnee has been busy with wedding showers and wedding details. She will get to be a part of two friends’ weddings this summer and is busy with all the planning. We were able to have a school friend of Shawnee’s over last week. Laura and her husband Josh were here from out of state for a visit and we really enjoyed meeting their sweet little boy Aidan. Last weekend Shawnee was able to go to a Mother / Daughter tea with her mom and Sister in law, Bobbi. It was a fun afternoon hosted by our church and all the ladies came in their tea dresses, party hats and pearls. It involved a lot of great food too!! Now we are working through May…Shawnee will start having meetingspreparing for the Ladies Retreat in September and we will both be attending the Couples Retreat in about 2 weeks. We are really looking forward to that time together. DJ and Bobbi will be parents againreally soon. Bobbi is hoping for the end of May but her due date is the beginning of June.We are all really excited about having another baby around. So we will just have to wait and see when he decides to come. We hope you are all doing well and Happy Mothers Day to all you mothers out there!
Easter Sunday
This year Steve and I hosted our annual Easter Celebration at our new home. The day was a whirlwind and we loved having all of our family close to us during this special time. Steve’s Mom and Step Dad were able to come down from Castle Rock and join my mom, DJ, Bobbi and Taylor as well as Bobbi’s parents & little brother and Bobbi’s Sister’s family. We were one big happy group and we had fun!We started the afternoon off with a lot of food. I prepared my first Easter Ham. And even then I cheated and got a honey baked ham that was already cooked. All I had to do was pull it out of the fridge and let it get to room temperature. THAT WAS HARD!! Anyhow, did I mention that all the food was really good? After dinner everyone headed down stairs to decorate their Easter eggs in preparation for the Egg Wars that would happen later that evening. While the eggs dried the Egg hunt began as everyone searched our house for about 150-200 Easter eggs filled with goodies. The Egg Wars came next and everyonewas prepped and ready to smash other peoples eggs! After the Egg Wars we all settled down and played games while enjoying all the wonderful desserts!

What in the World Are We Up To In March?
This last month seems to have been a whirlwind of activities. After coming home from Illinois we jumped right back into our work and social schedules. We were able to enjoy a wonderful dinner with our Pastor and his family as well as dinner and double dates with several of our family & friends. We also celebrated Steve's birthday along with Taylor's #2 Birthday the week after. Steve was of course sick on his birthday. The day before was Sunday and his Mom and Dad B. were able to come down and go to church with us all. After church we all went out for a large BBQ meal and then went back to our house for cake and games. Later that evening Food Poisoning hit! Ugh! So he was pretty sick on his actual birthday. For Taylor’s birthday we went to Chuck E Cheese. I think the adults maybe had more fun with the games then the kids did. Believe it or not my shy husband played the Dance, Dance Revolution game with DJ. Now guys, this is a game where you actually have to DANCE in PUBLIC. I about fell over when I saw him on center stage Dancing! We just finished up another busy weekend with Steve being involved with the Men’s work team at church. He spent the entire morning Saturday at the church helping with things around there. He will also attend the Men’s retreat next weekend with the men at church. So I will spend the week getting his things together for that. Before we left for Illinois we did pictures for a friends wedding. Steve helped me and was my photo sidekick. After he saw how fun it was and saw the results he was ready to open our own business. This is something we have talked a lot about and are still praying about. We both enjoy doing it so much. We have some Senior Pictures to take at the end of this month, so after this Steve may be so excited he will just rush right out and buy me that new camera I have been wanting! Other than that I am busy getting ready to be in two of my friends weddings. One is in June and the other in September. I am having lots of fun dress shopping and planning showers! It brings back memories of not too long ago! We have been Married 7 months now!!Prayer & PraisePraise that we were able to sell Steve’s Truck!Prayer for job stability and Peace for SteveGod is Ever Faithful!
